Training & Testing

All Caregivers receive monthly training via our IPCed Institute for Professional Care Education training. We provide hands on Continuing Education Classes for our employees and for CNA's who work in local hospitals and Skilled Nursing Facilities.

New employees are required to complete an in-depth orientation which includes 5 hours of caregiving related skills and topics*. Our management staff includes Registered Nurses and a Physical Therapist who are all available to provide extra support and skill instruction as needed to our caregivers, CNAs and Home Health Aides.

Hillendale's fully equipped classroom allows us to evaluate and teach skills in a home like setting. With the assistance of our handsome life-like mannequin, caregivers can learn bathing, repositioning and transferring techniques just to name a few!
